Water Installation and Cleanliness in the Mosque's Toilet of Faculty of Humanities are not Mantained Well
Faculty of humanities or commonly known as FIB is one of the faculties of social science in Andalas university. Most of faculty of social science have a mosque. As we know, a mosque should have a clean and well-maintained environment, because if we want to worship, the place should be clean and saintly. However, this is very inversely proportional to the state of the mosque in the faculty of humanities. More precisely the cleanliness of the mosque's toilet. Not only that, but also the water installation there was very bad.
Every day, when students will perform Dhuhr and Ashar prayers, they are always worried because the water in that toilet is always off. Forcefully, the students should used the water in the tub or pray in another mosques. Nonethless, the water in that tub is not worthy of used because it is very dirty and somewhat smelly. Beside that, the smell of the water closet (WC) is also very bad. This happens in woman's toilet. So, the students usually prefer to pray in the next faculty's mosque. It is the Faculty of Social Science and Polutical Science or commonly known as FISIP.
"I am a FIB student but honestly I prefer to pray in FISIP's mosque. I'm too lazy to pray in our faculty's mosque because I could not stand the smell of that toilet and the slum water. That makes me feel nauseous whenever I came in that toilet" said Tri Ananda Putri Utami, an Indonesian Literature student on Wednesday (12/09/18).
In fact, this situation occurs every day on mosque's toilet of Faculty of Hummanities and is certainly very troubling for students there. Students hope this problem is quickly overcome so that the students and lecturers can worship and pray calmly and comfortably.
